By the Omori family, dated 1777
Carved on both sides with breaking waves and inlaid with an octopus, squid and fish of various species in gold, silver, copper and shakudo takazogan, signed and dated Omori Teruhide with kao, Anei roku ki tori hachigatsubi zo (made in the eighth month of the 6th year of Anei, 1777). 7.3cm (2 7/8in).
