Comprising: a Bushu tsuba carved and pierced with bamboo leaves in snow, details in gold, signed Bushu ju Masachika saku, 7.6cm (3in); a Bushu tsuba carved and pierced with an inro, kinchaku and netsuke, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in); an Omori tsuba carved and pierced with a dragon in a storm above breaking waves, signed Omori Teruhide, 7.6cm (3in); a Choshu tsuba carved and pierced with a mass of shellfish, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in); a Kinai tsuba carved and pierced with a monkey and awabi shells, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in); an Awa tsuba inlaid in gold honzogan with clouds and stylized rain dragons, signed with a kao(?), 7.9cm (3 1/8in); a Kyo-sukashi tsuba pierced with spokes and karigane, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in); a Canton tsuba carved and pierced with trailing exotic plants, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in); and a Ko-Nara tsuba inlaid with shells strewn on a beach in iroe takazogan, unsigned, 8.5m (3 3/8in).
