A fine large Kakiemon bowl
Late 17th/early 18th century
Of deep, pentagonal lobed form, raised on a low foot, finely painted on the interior with small birds flying around a flowering cherry tree growing from rockwork, branches of maple and clumps of wild flowers, the exterior with similar plants, all in underglaze-blue and coloured enamels within the brown-edged rim; with wood storage box.
