A black lacquer large single-case inro
Style of Shibata Zeshin, late 19th century
In the form of a partly used ink-cake, carved in relief on one side with a tiger standing among rocks and trees, its head raised and turned back as it sniffs the air for prey, the reverse with a dragon among clouds in similar style, the interior is of black lacquer and the cord runners are formed by silver rings, unsigned.
