A wood netsuke of a recumbent wild boar
By Yasusada Shuzan, 19th century
Lying with its head lowered and facing ahead with open mouth, its legs folded beneath and its ears drawn back, the slightly-worn wood bears a good patina and the eyes are inlaid, signed Shuzan.
