Of small size and rectangular shape, the lid painted with a musician and singers in the countryside, the sides with further landscapes with figures, all within gold scrollwork on a deep blue ground, the interior with a gilt metal inner cover and inscribed in the inside of the box 'Tendres Soupirs, feconde mes Desirs' 4.9cm wide (some fine cracks)
