  • An accomplished student of both Auchi Polytechnic and Yaba College of Technology, Ghanaian-born Rueben Ugbine now lives and works in Nigeria. A highly dextrous sculptor, Ugbine works with both terracotta and wood. Ugbine playfully manipulates the convex and the concave in his works, using the concepts as a jumping-off point for a reflective and insightful artistic practice.
