  • Soly Cissé lives and works in Dakar. He graduated in 1996 from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Dakar, where he trained as a drawer, a painter and a sculptor. This admirer of Bacon and Basquiat frees his own ghosts, takes them out for a joyful walk with his animals of (bad) company. Just a brief, restless, dynamic dance. Cissé's 'bestiary' is composed of organic forms, metamorphic creatures and dysfunctional worlds.
