Footnotes
Like several of his contemporaries, Jacob Jari is an artist who employs objects that have been discarded, repurposing them into objects of beauty. Jari takes cast-off magazine pages, fabric off-cuts, straws, and bottle tops and rolls them into capsules. In doing so, a fresh attention is brought to the discarded object which has been healed into a new non-representational form.
