Auction Notices
- The present lot description should read 'A pair of silvered metal reliefs of English Crests'. The family of the Crest has not been identified, but it does contain the motto from the Order of the Garter, the Crown of a Marquis and a Talbot hound. It has been speculated that it may be related to the Talbot family from whom the Earls of Shrewsbury are decended for whom the Talbot hound is a family emblem.
