1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Convertible
The early 1960s saw a shift towards more compact car offerings as European competition led American automakers to introduce smaller vehicles such as the Ford Falcon and Chevrolet Corvair. Oldsmobile's contribution was the attractive F-85, offered initially as a coupe, sedan, or station wagon and powered by the robust aluminium 215ci V-8. 1962 saw the introduction of a convertible version.
The example offered here is described as a running, driving example of this rarely-seen body style, and will provide an interesting counterpart to the more commonly seen Ford Falcon Convertibles.
