1976 Triumph TR-6
Chassis no. CF541S0U
This unrestored Triumph is largely original and represents one of the last of the line of the classic Triumph 'TR' series before the introduction of the decidedly more modern, wedge-shaped TR-7.
Equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, this TR-6 has been treated to one high quality repaint, and is described by the vendor as a solid example with no rust issues. Having been recently serviced and with a new master cylinder installed, the vendor reports that this TR-6 is a great driver. With a highly presentable interior and a brand new top, the TR-6 is a comfortable sports touring car that will be right at home on any number of vintage rallies and tours. The engine compartment is said to be original and untouched, as the car was lovingly maintained by a British car enthusiast through much of its life.
The TR-6 was the single most popular Triumph model and enjoyed a seven-year production run from 1969-1976; the example offered here has been well-cared-for and shows the characteristic signs of preservation and regular maintenance. This is a great opportunity to acquire a good example of an iconic British roadster.
