A buncheong ware bottle
Joseon dynasty, 15th century
Of pear form supported on a tall foot and finished with a flared rim to the cylindrical neck, the shoulder inlaid in white slip with three string bands above and below a row of flower heads along the shoulder while the body is stamped with vertically-oriented rope patterns, all in contrast to the gray-fired body covered with a celadon-tinged glaze visible on all surfaces except the foot pad.
