Of inverted pear form with a rolled rim to the short neck, covered with a copper red layer that thins along the neck and shoulder, deepening to a vivid cherry red beneath a craze-filled glaze that collects in a thick welt along the set-in foot ring and displays russet staining to the craze lines where applied within the recessed base.
