The hard paneled seats set into a mitered, mortise and tenoned frame and joined to an elegant carved back splat set with panels inlaid with potted plants surrounded by a pierced softwood frame carved as dense clouds applied with bats in flight, the back of each panel set with a carved cinnabar medallion featuring a sage and attendant in various landscape settings inlaid into a ground of geometric lozenges, framed at the bottom with shou medallions, the seat frame suspending floral aprons joined to beaded supports linked at the bottom by humpback stretchers.
