Green River Formation, Wyoming
Three species of fossil fish are aesthetically displayed on this large limestone mural from the famous Green River Formation of Southwestern Wyoming. Two large Diplomystus appear to be feeding in a school of smaller fish. The surface texture of the limestone adds both dimension and color contrast, enhancing this dramatic display. The mural has been backed with high-grade birch plywood and has been fitted with a "French cleat" for wall display.
