FIRST EDITION limited to 925 copies signed by Edward Steichen and Carl Sandburg, this copy no 911. Sandburg celebrated and elevated the commercial aspects of his brother-in-law Steichen's work for this monograph, which was well received in the graphic design community but provoked scorn from the fine art world.
