2 volumes bound in one. Folio (230 x 320 mm). 238 leaves. *8 AA-LL8 MM-NN10 aa-ee8 ff6 A-K8/6 L6. 64 lines, double column. Text in small black letter, capital spaces unrubricated. Period full calf over wooden boards, spine in four compartments stamped in blind using two individual floral tools, early paper spine label lettered in manuscript, boards extravagantly tooled, etched central boss and cornerpieces, backplates. First gathering with repairs to lower corners and to fore-edge margin, first leaf with further repair to top corner, tiny wormhole catching a few letters, free endpapers lacking, upper hinge started.

SECOND EDITION OF THE COMPLETE OPERA, EXTREMELY RARE COMPLETE; AND IN ORIGINAL AUGSBURG-STYLE BINDING. The tools on the binding have been identified as the work of Christofferus Thom at Kyriss shop 86, employing Kyriss's Jagd-Rolle II with dogs pursuing stags and sunflower tools and rosettes described by Haebler. Not in Adamsor STC; WorldCat locates only five examples worldwide, two of which are incomplete.
