The cast and chased frame depicting the centaur Chiron and Acteon supported by clouds, on stepped marble base with applied ormolu grape vine frieze and raised on bun feet, white enamel dial with roman chapters within a beaded and guilloché bezel, molded gilt hands, the circular movement with thread suspended pendulum to anchor escapement. 31cm (12 ¼ in) high
