Footnotes

  • An important step in the evolution of the precision watch, the so-called "captain's watch" was the ancestor of the chronograph. The present watch employs the Breguet bridge caliber movement and adopts his parachute shock resistant suspension and temperature compensation. This new style of movement was able to both accommodate complexity and increase precision.
