Gilt bridge calibre movement jeweled to the third wheel of each of the independently key wound and set trains, right angle escapement with comma shape counterpoise, uncut bi metallic balance with numerous gold poising and timing screws, Breguet's parachute suspension and compensation curb, independent seconds engaged by means of slide adjacent pendant, engraved gold cuvette, white enamel dial with seconds track enclosing a pair of roman chapter rings, blued hands, subsidiary continuous seconds, within an engine turned gold case engraved with floral cartouche. 50mm.

- An important step in the evolution of the precision watch, the so-called "captain's watch" was the ancestor of the chronograph.
