The arched pad top with five bud finials, over side panels with pierced brass scroll side frets, inlaid brass scrolls enclosing the circular brass bezel, on inlaid plinth with brass capped ball feet, circular white enamel dial with roman chapters, pierced hour and minute hands, counterpoised sweep seconds hand, twin fusee brass movement with five cylindrical pillars, duplex escapement with balance wheel planted on the back plate engraved with nonsense signature, striking the hours and quarters on two nested bells. 57cm (22 in) high
