17-jewel Cal. 722-1 position adjusted manual winding movement, shock resistant suspension to monometallic balance, chronograph activated by two round pushers on case band, dial with black minute ring with fifth seconds divisions enclosing black subsidiary 30 – minute and 12 – hour registers and continuous seconds dial in the champagne center, polished gold hands with luminous inserts, arrow tipped chronograph hand, brushed and polished case with black tachymeter bezel calibrated to 200 units / hour, screw down back and screw down crown, riveted Oyster 7205 bracelet with deployant clasp, accompanied by an extra link, promotional brochure and copy of original bill of sale, case, dial, movement and bracelet signed. 37 mm

  • Early Cosmograph models were also available in eighteen and fourteen carat gold. The present lot has a fourteen karat case made for the US market. A later tritium marker was added at 12 o'clock by a watchmaker during an overhaul.
