Two train movement with silvered platform right angle lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, striking hours and chiming quarters on coiled gongs, repeating by means of button through top of case, selection switch in base for silence, grande or petite sonnerie, circular white enamel dial with arabic chapters within plain gilt mask, gilt fleur de lis hands, the glazed gilt case with Corinthian columns at the corners and partly reeded scroll handle. 8 in.
