A fine and impressive six-person 'En Route' picnic set
by Drew & Sons, London, circa 1911

Black leathercloth case with geometric design, nickel-plated handles, locks and catches, with lid and fall-front opening to reveal wicker framework interior fitted with wicker-handled kettle with burner, ornate stand and pan, wicker-covered drinks bottle, Thermos vacuum flask, three food tins, two glass milk bottles, glass beakers in wicker case, Drew & Sons ceramic cups and saucers, ceramic butter jar, and other condiments accessories, the cutlery contained in canvas rolls, with rectangular enamel plates housed behind leather straps in the lid, with maker's plaque to front of lid, some old marks to lid.
