A U.S. Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver
Serial no. 143056 for 1863, .44 caliber. 8 inch barrel with New York address. Various parts with A, H and D inspection marks. No US on frame. Varnished walnut grips with faint inspector's cartouches.
Condition: Very good. Barrel with grey/brown patina and generous traces of blue finish on the lug. Loading lever lug retaining much faded casehardening. Cylinder with sharp markings and scene and brown patina with much finish on rebated portion. Frame with smooth, grey metal. Grips with scattered light marks and staining.
