A large polychrome enameled porcelain 'One hundred Deer' vase
Qianlong mark, Late Qing/Republic period
Of pear form with deer-head handles applied to the shoulder, the walls painted in richly hued enamels with deer grazing and scampering through a 'blue and green' landscape of rocks, trees and auspicious fungus with flowering branches highlighted in deep purple enamels, the recessed base bearing the six-character mark in iron red seal script (one handle restored).
