in a long hourglass shape with bamboo rails attached to the edges, inlaid with paua (Haliotis iris) and diadem volute (Melo amphora) shell; blackened patina on the front and light brown, worn patina on the reverse with collector's handwriting in Spanish.

Private Mexican Collection, acquired from a European diplomat who acquired the work during a visit to Indonesia in the 1950's.
