A fine pair of George I giltwood pier mirrors
early 18th century

The shaped rectangular mirror plate within a conforming frame with geometric and foliate blind fret style decoration divided by paterae enclosed by scrolling foliage and surmounted by bold scrolls.
height 69in (175cm); width 38in (96cm)

There is an old shipping label on the back of one of the mirrors stating:
