the oval-shaped cabochon color-change sapphire within an openwork scrolling surround of old European-cut diamonds suspended from an openwork triangular-shaped panel of old mine, old European and single-cut diamonds; with fitted box signed Joseph Resch & Fils, Bucarest; sapphire weighing approximately: 40.70 carats; estimated total diamond weight: 1.50 carats; mounted in platinum; length: 2 1/4in.
