Autograph Letter Signed ("Alfred Stieglitz"), 1 p, 4to, New York, May 15, 1896, to Mr. Timmins, regarding an upcoming exhibition in Syracuse, on Photochrome Engraving Company letterhead, some offset from ink, wear at center fold, erosion to "f" of Alfred from ink.
Stieglitz writes this letter to an upstate gallery owner sending two of his photographs to be included in an exhibition. "I have sent you to-day per American Express a box ... containing the two pictures: 'Scurrying Home' and "A Wet Day on the Boulevard.' I hope they will reach you in good shape. Please be very careful of the framed picture as you know how highly I value it."
