Autograph Letter Signed ("Paul Gauguin"), 2 pp recto and verso, 4to, [Tahiti], March 2, 1902, to M. Molard, on graph paper, with original autograph transmittal envelope, moderate toning, upper margin of envelope rough.
Gauguin writes a letter to a member of the Ministry of Agriculture, complaining about the mail and the incompetent colonial administration in Tahiti, and expressing concern about a shipment of paintings somewhere en route. He asks Molard, who is in a position to know, to investigate.
