Meiji period late 19th century
He standing smiling, dressed in a patterned short kimono with patterned leggings and sandals, holding a hand drum in his right hand and supporting a bamboo rod from which hand a large assortment of baskets and boxes resting on his shoulders. Inscribed with mark "玉之" (tamano). 14cm high
