A white jade figure of Shoulao
Mid Qing dynasty
The white stone of even colour, suffused with tinges of russet, skilfully worked in the form of Shoulao depicted standing with an acolyte holding a peach, naturalistically rendered with prominent cranium, adorned in a long robe, standing with a pair of bats, one on left shoulder and another on raised right hand, the left holding a staff.
11.8cm high.
