A gold lacquer five-case inro

Bearing a sparse nashiji ground, lacquered and inlaid with a cockatoo on a swing perch, the reverse with a basket of peonies and magnolia, in gold and coloured takamakie with raden, the interior of nashiji, the inside of each case bearing an ink sketch of a seasonal floral branch painted by different artists, on which a tanzaku inlaid in metal, is tied and floating in the breeze, each poem slip probably inscribed with the contents of the case; signed Jokasai.
