maroon textured leather case with leather handle and nickel-plated locks and catches, opening to reveal watered silk lined interior fitted with accessories including glass jars and bottles with hallmarked sterling silver lids, with silver-handled hair and shoe brushes in the lid, (lacking hand mirror), each monogrammed 'RL', and other accoutrements including leather-cased notebook, vesta case and ink jar, 45cm wide.
