Of quatrelobed bombé form with the fitted lid centered by a takazogan portrayal of the 'Dragon King' (Ryo-o), the Bugaku dancer executed in gold, silver, copper and shakudo on a shibuichi ground and signed Shomin, all set within a gold nunome-zogan border of dissolving dragons, phoenix and ducks above further overlay featuring various Gagaku musical instruments, Bugaku hat and patterned curtain below maples and a stylized cloud band on the slightly tapering sides above short scallop-edged supports picked out with dissolving sparrows, the base signed Ipposai/Ichifusai and sealed Raku[ ], with a silvered liner
