The figure steadies himself with his halberd while he signals to his comrades by blowing into a conch shell, cast, chiseled and patinated in two shades of bronze with gilt highlights, his long jinbaori decorated in blossoming peonies and dragon fish (shachi) among clouds on the reverse, his trousers decorated with Buddhist wheels (rinpo), his armor realistically modeled and embellished with a large dragon on the cuirass and floral sprays on the components, signed in a gilt rectangular reserve Miyoa zo; with an original fitted wood base lacquered with vines and stylized phoenix in gold hiramaki-e
