MCMVII (1907) High Relief $20 Wire Rim
We are pleased to be offering multiple examples of this timeless issue in the 20th century U.S. gold series. Solidly in the Select category, both sides are fully lustrous with a glistening, satiny texture to the surfaces. There are relatively few abrasions, those worthy of mention are a few tiny rim nicks on the fragile edge, and a tiny back spot above the date in the obverse field. The color is a light, even, yellow-gold shade, and the devices are crisply impressed over even the most intricate elements of the design.
