front control semi open-back cabinets in black tolex covering, silver front cloth, black control panel with eleven red rotary controls, three rocker switches, four jack inputs, pilot light, 120V models with US plugs; with gray Packhorse flight case designed to transport the two amplifiers together, with various stickers; and two Fender 4x12 speaker cabinets, Serial Numbers LO79423 and LO79264, closed-back cabinets-four 12-inch speakers in each in gray Packhorse flight case (7)

  • In his 1988 interview with the Japanese Young Guitar magazine, Eric Clapton referred to the Fender Dual Showman as being his stage amp before he started using Soldano amps (see lot 91). Clapton used these Dual Showmans as his main stage amps between 1987 and 1988.
