in white finish, hollow shell body with aluminum rib construction, headstock with white metal plaque engraved with 'Om' motif, maple neck, twenty-two fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, two humbucking pickups, bridge baseplate with six saddles, lever, rotary control and casting pickguard with RKS logo; and a black rectangular hardshell case with black plush lining containing documentation, hexagonal keys and three picks, with handwritten label with various inscriptions including RKS "Dr Who Special" V25 583, Gift from Dave Mason, R.A.H. 05

  • This guitar was given to Eric Clapton by Dave Mason at the Royal Albert Hall, London, May 2005.

    A former member of Stevie Winwood's group Traffic, Dave Mason joined Delaney & Bonnie with Clapton during their UK tour and continued to play with Clapton on an intermittent basis with his new band, Derek and The Dominos at its first public appearance at Dr. Spock's political benefit concert at the Lyceum in June 1970. He left the band after the concert and went on to become a solo star in the 1970s.

    Dave Mason a co-founder of RKS Guitars, was involved in the design and production.
