Footnotes

  • This guitar was the third of four prototypes built for Eric Clapton

000-ECHF, designed in collaboration by Eric Clapton and the Japanese fashion designer and music producer, Hiroshi Fujiwara, was introduced as a limited edition guitar in 2006.

Clapton appeared on NBC Television's The Today Show on 18 November 2005 and performed Back Home with this guitar or one of the other three Bellezza Bianca prototypes.

Photo: Clapton playing the song Love In Vain on another prototype Martin Bellezza Bianca (without pickguard) at Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica on 14 August 2004. The location was chosen to evoke Robert Johnson's first recordings made in a makeshift studio at a hotel room in San Antonio in 1936. These sessions were released on the video Sessions for Robert J in 2004. The designs of the CD/DVD discs emulated the rosette of the two Bellezza guitars in black and white.
