in natural finish, short-scale maple neck-through-body construction with mahogany wings, twenty-three fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, Seymor Duncan Quarter Pound Strat single-coil pickup, two rotary controls, strings-through-body construction, bridge plate with six adjustable saddles; and a green padded softshell case with handwritten label; the body signed by Eric Clapton in black felt pen, the headstock signed and inscribed in black ink Best Wishes Eric – Phil Kubicki

  • Phillip Kubicki, who is best known today for his Factor bass guitars, started at Fender in the late 1960s and was involved with the production of George Harrison's rosewood Stratocaster. After leaving Fender, Kubicki started his own line of Factor Bass in the 1980s and worked with Fender's research and development team involved with active circuitries in the late 1980s. This is a small travel guitar.
