37-jewel Cal. 27-460 movement adjusted to temperature, position and isochronism, Seal of Geneva, gold rotor, shock resistant suspension to Gyromax balance, silvered dial with applied slender baton numerals, subsidiary seconds, gold hands, within a circular case with concave bezel, sapphire crystal and sapphire glazed screw back, case, dial and movement signed, maker's leather strap with signed 18K gold buckle, with display box. 33 mm diam.

  • The present lot is fitted with both a sapphire glass and a display back. This is rather unique for a reference from that period. The screw back sapphire back displays an automatic caliber 27-460 which may have been used by Patek Philippe agents to demonstrate the finish of its movements.
