A ship model "Sarandi"
A model of the topsail schooner Sarandi Goleta
the hull built up from the solid, with a copper painted bottom, black topsides, a dark red waist and mahogany cap rail. The topsides pierced for six (6) cannons rigged on carriages, and the deck planked and detailed with anchors, hawse pipes, companionway, bit post with anchor chain, pin and fife rails, deck gratings, cannon lashed amidships, ship's boat lashed amidships, capstan with posts, boxed compass, tiller, dory on davits at the stern, and other details. Rigged with a bow sprit, two masts with boom, gaffs, cross spars, standing and running rigging, all properly served and finished at the tails. Flying a pennant and a Argentinian flag.
44 x 13-1/2 x 32-1/2 in. (111.8 x 34.3 x 82.6 cm.) the model.
