The Flying Cloud was an American built clipper ship active between 1859- 1874. She was built by Donald McKay in East Boston, Massachusetts and owned by the Enoch Train of Boston and sold to Grinnell Munturn & Company of New York. She had principal dimensions of 235ft LOA x 40.8ft beam x 21.3ft draft and weighing 1,782 tons.
