1909/8 $20 MS62 NGC
A close look at both 9s in the date makes the overdate completely obvious, even to the novice. The first 9 is pointed while the second 9 is blunt and rounded, rising up to meet the top loop as the remainder of an 8 should. Also, a second circle appears in the top loop, where the opening in the 8 is apparently a bit smaller than the opening of the 9. This piece offers attractive yellow-gold luster with minor striking softness visible, particularly on the obverse. (PCGS 9151)
