Kitae (forging pattern): tight ko-itame in ji-nie
Hamon (tempering pattern): gunome mixed with choji midare in nie and nioi with ashi, yo, and sunagashi
Boshi (tip): midare-komi
Horimono (carving): omote: Hachiman dai bosatsu; ura: bonji
Nakago (tang): suriage, machi-okuri, kiri file marks, four holes (one plugged), signed Yasumitsu
Habaki (collar): one-piece, gold
