A rare Baccarat turquoise-blue carpet-ground paperweight, dated 1848

Set with a variety of canes including silhouettes of a cockerel, a flower, a bird, a bird on shamrock, an elephant, a butterfly, a stag, another butterfly, a goat, a dog, a monkey and the signature cane B1848, all within turquoise-blue cane clusters with red centres, 7.8cm diameter by 5.2cm high (some minor wear)
