A West Pans mug, circa 1764-70
Of cylindrical form with a double scroll handle, painted in colours with a fanciful bird perched on a fence, beside flowers including a variegated tulip issuing from rockwork, flanked by two loose bouquets of flowers amongst scattered leaves, below a brown line rim, the handle painted with brown scrollwork, 10.7cm high (minor rim nicks probably caused during manufacture)
