A George III silver entrée dish and Old Sheffield plate stand,
by Paul Storr, London 1809,
rectangular with rounded corners, the high domed top having a separate handle of reeded loop form with leaf junctions and on gadroon-edged and domed base, engraved on either side with a coat of arms with scroll mantling, the supporting Old Sheffield plate two-handled stand with gadroon border and raised on four feet embellished with chevrons, height 28cm, length 42 x 23.5cm, weight of silver 68.74oz.
